LOS ANGELES BAKERS NEED OUR HELP

The devastating wildfires in Los Angeles have greatly impacted local bakeries, leaving many struggling to recover. But our community has the power to make a difference.

Bakeries are more than just places to buy bread or pastries—they are the heart of our neighborhoods, the morning meeting spots where stories are shared, connections are made, and traditions are built.

We are forming a coalition of local pie shops, large pie companies, and equipment suppliers from across the country to support and help restore the small, family-run bakeries most affected by these fires.

Together, we can help these cherished establishments rise again and continue to nourish our communities, one loaf and pie at a time.

OUR MISSION

Pie Day for LA unites the pie makers of America to support Los Angeles bakeries that have been damaged by the 2025 wildfires or have lost revenue because of the fires.

Through fundraising efforts and practical aid, we aim to help the local bakeries that play a central role in their Los Angeles communities.

INVITATION TO ACT

  • Become a participating pie maker by signing up here. We will post the name of your business and link to it on this website.

  • Pledge to donate a percentage of proceeds from pie sales between Valentine’s Day and Pi Day (March 14, 2025) to support local bakeries affected by the wildfires. The donation period can be one day or one month, and each participating business will determine how much of a percentage it’s able to donate. We recommend a minimum of 5%.

  • Enhance your impact by adding a donation link to your website and encouraging your customers to contribute.

  • We will assist with collecting and disbursing the funds to bakeries in need with the guidance of our Advisory Board and 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor.

  • Promote your campaign through social media and other outreach channels. To make it easy, we’ll provide you with a marketing materials, social media assets, and all the information you’ll need to engage your audience and make a difference.
