WHO WE ARE
We are pie makers with very small, community-minded businesses. We are our own marketers and have grown our respective businesses by connecting with other entre-PIE-neurs and pie lovers on social media.
Hinman Pie and Dini’s Divine Pies followed each other on Instagram one day and began to applaud and support one another’s pie efforts. Now, we are two like-minded makers, finding ways to use the superpower of pie for good.
John Hinman, founder of Hinman Pie in Denver, is a long-time advocate for culinary workers. He founded C.H.O.W. (Culinary Hospitality, Outreach & Wellness) a non-profit organization in Denver dedicated to supporting mental health in the restaurant industry. Hinmanpie.com Chowco.org.
Dini McCullough Amozurrutia is founder of Dini’s Divine Pies in suburban Washington, D.C. She brings her passion for creative work and community building to this project. Before dedicating herself to pie-making, she worked as a public interest lawyer advocating for underserved communities.
